Mariem Abu taleb (b. 1994, Alexandria) is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice intertwines storytelling, painting, and installation. Her work reinterprets ancient myths and oral traditions through a feminist lens, giving new voice to silenced women of Egyptian folklore.

Mariem reclaims the mythological and the domestic as intertwined realms of power. By embedding fabrics, handwritten texts, and symbols into her works, she constructs personal mythologies that blur the line between past and present.
