Radiant Baby, 1990 ca
The Radiant Baby is one of Keith Haring’s most iconic and celebrated “tags.” It features a simple, bold outline of a crawling infant surrounded by energetic lines—often called “heat strokes” or “radiance”—emanating from its body.
While inherently positive, Haring also saw it as a symbol of human vulnerability and a reminder of our collective responsibility toward the next generation. Originally appearing as a chalk drawing in the New York City subway, it became his personal signature and a global symbol of universal love and life.
